Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Draftsman to support our engineering and manufacturing teams in producing accurate, detailed technical drawings for automotive and mechanical components. You will be a key contributor in transforming concepts and engineering requirements into precise 2D and 3D CAD drawings that guide production and quality processes at our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update 2D and 3D technical drawings and schematics for engine components such as water pumps, oil pumps, pulleys, and assemblies using CAD software.
• Interpret and convert engineering sketches, specifications, and design requirements into accurate detailed drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams to understand technical requirements and ensure drawings reflect manufacturability.
• Revise and maintain drawings based on feedback and project needs with strict control on versioning and documentation.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, company quality norms, and safety requirements.
• Support the engineering team with bill of materials (BOMs) and part lists derived from drawings.
• Assist with documentation and records management for design releases and revisions.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering/Drafting/Design or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawing standards and interpretation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise, clear drawings.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in automotive, manufacturing, or precision engineering environments.
• Knowledge of engineering documentation practices and version control.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
