The company utilizes in-house design and modeling tools such as 3D scanning and CAD to deliver quality engineered parts for a range of vehicles and machinery.
Position Summary
We are looking for a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team and support the design, development, and production of mechanical components used in automotive and industrial engine systems. The ideal candidate will work across product design, manufacturing support, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development:
Create and refine mechanical designs for engine components such as water pumps, oil pumps and other related assemblies using 3D CAD and simulation tools. - Technical Documentation:
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and manufacturing instructions. - Product Testing:
Conduct performance testing, validation, and troubleshooting of prototypes and production parts to ensure compliance with design standards. - Manufacturing Support:
Collaborate with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes, resolve technical issues, and improve yield and efficiency. - Quality & Compliance:
Ensure products meet required quality standards and comply with safety, regulatory, and customer requirements. - Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work with R&D, supply chain, inspection, and quality departments to support continuous product and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with CAD/CAE software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
- Good understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Experience in automotive component design or precision manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and quality management systems.
- Ability to balance technical accuracy with practical manufacturing constraints.
